Ponniyin Selvan 2 Boxoffice Mega hit
Box office collection reports show that the second part of director Mani Ratnam's dream come true 'Ponniyin Selvan', which was released last Friday, has received a huge response from movie lovers across the world.
'PS2' is making a successful leap by winning the favor of the audience over the first part 'PS1'. Within two days of its release, 'PS2' has created a new history by surpassing 100 crores in the global collection.
The two-day gross collection worldwide is 109.6 crores. With this, 'PS2' has entered the 100 crore club.
The two-day collection in India alone is 57.9 crores. Out of this, Tamil Nadu's collection is 36 crores. Figures indicate that the two-day gross in Kerala is 5.5 crores. Considering this, 'PS2' deserves the honor of 'Biggest Opening Movie' of this year after Vijay's 'Warisu' at the Kerala Box Office. Box office observers estimate that the film will break all-time records with the start of summer vacation.
Compared to 'PS1', 'PS2' has amazed the fans with its lively story content, narration, technical excellence, and Mani Ratnam's enchanting visual charm.
Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishna, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Jayachitra, Jayaram, Rahman, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Parthipan, Vikram Prabhu, Babu Antony, Lal, Riaz Khan, Kishore Ashwin Kakumanu, Riaz Khan, Mohan Ram are the lead actors in 'PS2'.
Rafique Ahmed and AR Rahman are the composers of Malayalam 'PS-2'. Director Shankar Ramakrishnan is the dialogue writer. Cinematography by Ravi Varman, art direction by Thotadharani, and editing by Sreekar Prasad. It is estimated that 'Ponniyin Selvan-2' (PS2), the second part of Brahmanda film jointly produced by K. Subhaskaran's Lyca Productions and Mani Ratnath's Madras Talkies, will create a new dimension in the history of Indian cinema at the global level. PS2 has been released in Kerala by Shree Gokulam Movies.
